These photographic works study the atmospheric qualities of light through the exploration of translucency, color, and form. To create them, I overlay multiple vantages of varied environments through an analogue trichrome process. I then transfer these images onto acrylic and manipulate the shape. Light’s interaction with the surface is critical, as, together, light and object generate auras, reflections, and shadows. These works invite you to notice, feel, and enjoy the phenomena of light, not just within these pieces, but all around you.
